Objectives

• Understand frequently used phrases and expressions related to personal and family information, shopping, places of interest and work.
• Communicate in simple routine tasks requiring direct exchange of information on familiar everyday matters.
• Describe past events, surroundings and immediate needs in simple terms.
• Consolidate basic grammar structures and expand functional vocabulary.
• Recognize basic cultural differences between your own culture and Spanish-speaking cultures.

Contents

• Communication: preferences, objects and housing, life events, shopping, compliments, past habits, time references, advice, instructions, invitations, plans, past narration and future plans.
• Grammar: review of present and present perfect, direct and indirect object pronouns, conditional sentences with si, preterite and imperfect, estar + gerund, affirmative imperative, pronoun position and verbal periphrases.
• Vocabulary: objects, character, housing, biographies, clothing, food, weights and quantities, dates, duration, cultural habits, connectors and travel.
• DELE and CCSE preparation: exam simulations, writing, reading, speaking and listening practice.
• Schedule: from 9:00 to 13:00.
• The course does not include DELE exam registration, but we help students register at an Instituto Cervantes center.
